Westcotes Flooring Attend 2019 Recofloor Awards 

Westcotes Flooring Company attended the Recofloor 2019 awards, the vinyl flooring recycling scheme founded by flooring manufacturers Altro and Polyflor, recognised it’s members achievements at the 2019 awards event at the famous Belfry Golf Course in April.

The event also marked the start of Recofloor’s 10th anniversary celebrations with a wide range of special events, promotions and activities planned throughout the year.

Guest host and comedian Mark Watson swung into action, presenting trophies and certificates to flooring contractors, distributors and fitters who had contributed towards the significant 2018 total of 570 tonnes – a new scheme record for the fifth consecutive time. Since 2009, the scheme has recycled more than 4,500 tonnes of waste vinyl flooring – enough to cover 207 football pitches
